I haven't compiled perl with DJGPP, but I have compiled it using
WATCOM C/386 (a commercial 32-bit compiler). This version can use up to
32MB of RAM (real or virtual). Binaries and sources are available from
Simtel20 and mirror sites.
No, I've got no plans on porting it to DJGPP. "If it ain't broke,
don't fix it."
