    The 8-12MB RAM is the recommended amount of RAM.  You could probably
run with as little as 1MB free extended memory, but it may not be
pleasant (the DJGPP version supports virtual memory, as does the WATCOM
C/386 one, but VM has to be specifically enabled using an environment
variable with this one).
