epsilon, freemacs [what most of my friends use], et al? joe, who uses elvis
but just wants to see a bit of equity in the world...

I don't use any of these: I use AAEMACS, which I wrote myself in Gnu C. As
it uses Gnu C's paging, it can handle really <<B I G>> files, or a lot of
files at once. Not like Freemacs which can't (or couldn't when I used it)
handle a file over pow(2,16) bytes long! And if I accidentally make a delete
that includes lines off the screen, it asks me first if I intended it. And if
I type 'ctrl-Q ctrl-tab', I get a menu of all 256 PC characters, so I can
insert any of them <in>cluding the char(0).
