Does anyone know of a networking kernel, or anything providing
networking services, which I can use with djgpp? Specifically,
I need something to interface to PC/FTP (or direct to hardware
I suppose) and provide peer-to-peer communications across
a PC network of token-ring.

OR: Do you know of something that would help me get started
writing my own? Documentation.... Similar package.... Good
books....

Alternatively,
What I have seen so far is written in Turbo Assembler. Is there
a way I can call these routines? They are in real-mode (obviously)
and muck with segment registers. (Large model). Is there a mechanism
for calling these? Is there an easy method to convert this to
gnu as? If so, what problems can I expect?
