While this is a definite possibility (I'm quite familiar with CP's
reputation ;-), I find it strange that this problem occurs only with the
the DJGPP compiler/tools. I've used other protected-mode programs (like
the protected-mode WATCOM C/386 32-bit compiler), and using these don't
exhibit/cause any problems.
