Subject: 386MAX & DPMI

When I run go32.exe V1.10 from the DOS prompt I get the following error:

DPMI: Not enough memory (0x00410000 bytes).

I have 4MB RAM (1M used for smartdrv) and use 386MAX V6.02

Is there some way I can tell go32 NOT to use DPMI, and to use the same
memory management techniques as used in go32 V1.09 ? Or can I tell
386MAX that I don't want DPMI?

(I know I can run go32 from a DOS session under windows, and it will
have more memory available (386spart.par), but I would like to avoid
windows if at all possible!)
