I don't actually have the book, but I believe there is a "Nutshell" book
on COFF format. The "Nutshell" books are some of the best books on some
of the least documented features of UNIX. There are also "Nutshell" books
on Awk, Lex/YACC, Internet Networking, and others (I didn't find the
Networking book to be up to their standards, but that's me). I think it's
"Nutshell" as in "UNIX in a Nutshell". You would recognize the books as
spiral-bound softcover books with pictures of unusual animals (mostly
rodents, I think 8-) on them.

Anyway, the books are put out by O'Reilly & Associates, 632 Petaluma
Ave., Sebastopol, CA 95472, (800)338-6887 (US only), (707)829-0515,
(707)829-0104 (fax).
