Subject: 1.10 under TCC1.01 vs. 2.x vs. 3.0

I tested 1.10 with my big application and got a strange

GrSetMode: invalid color plane # (or close to).

Then I recompiled go32 using TCC1.01 (found it's neglectably smaller - 1K,
but also found that the makefile is no longer using .lnk files which
made linking a bit tedious - I reintroduced go32.lnk and debug32.lnk)

But interestingly my application now starts without the above error message
and everything seems fine (as far as VCPI is concerned).

I would recommend the person who reported this recent "GrSetmode: unknown
adapter type in driver" error to try recompilation of go32 under TCC 1.01
(if possible) and see if the error is gone.

I don't know what it is but it may be some run time library name collision,
or some weird macro problem/register initialization where different
Turbo Cs behave differently.
