djgpp uses unix-format object files, which are totally incompatible
with any other dos-based product.  So far, nobody has volunteered to
write a converter from a.out (djgpp) to omf (dos) either.

As a historical note, djgpp was originally written because Phar Lap's
extender at the time was very poor and lacking in features, and had
rediculous royalty terms.  So, instead of complaining about it, I
wrote one myself.
