To: DJGPP List <djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu>

Hi.

I downloaded DJGPP a while ago, joined this list, and waited patiently
while a PC project came though that I could use it on...

Well, I now have a project using a toolkit that says I need Zortech or
Meta Ware. However, they also say that you have to use PharLap's 386|Link
program to build stuff (and use their DOS extender, too).

My question is this: I know that 386|Link uses "Easy OMF-386" object file
formats for input - is this the same format that DJGPP makes? Is their a
commandline option for it?

Second. The toolkit provides 2 versions, one for Zortech and one for
MetaWare. But, to use PharLap, they have to output Easy OMF-386. I'm
assuming that stack frames or parameter passing conventions or something
are different between the two compilers. If this is so, can DJGPP compile
to objects that can call these kinds of toolkits for other compilers?

BTW: The toolkit is a class library for C++ and has no source, so ports
probably are not an option.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
