The new Borland C compilers (including Turbo C(++) 3.0) come with
two versions (Make 3.6) of make, a real-mode version (MAKER.EXE) and
a protected mode version (MAKE.EXE).

I have encountered problems using (protected mode) MAKE.EXE together
with gcc ('DJGPP'). The real-mode version (MAKER.EXE) works fine.
(with the usual limitation of the 128 chars command line limitation...)
