They can charge whatever they want to for the CD; but they can't put any
restrictions on gcc.  Anyone else can put it on a server or make another
CD to sell for whatever they want.

No ... wait a minute.  I think there is a restriction on source price in 
the Gnu Public License.  They can charge what they want to for the binary;
but they have to make the source available for no more than 10 times the
media cost.
