Hi there!
I write to know if someone knows which is the latest incarnation of demacs.
I have a quite old one, based on djgpp-1.04 and emacs-18.55, i think.
Did anyone port emacs-18.59 to djgpp-1.09?

Other question, which was raised and never (or i have lost mail) answered,
the profiling library seems to be broken in 1.09 (all times are 0), or
did i do something wrong in installation?

As long as personal preferences go i still use QEdit when working in DOS.
I think emacs suffers too much from the unix well rooted idea to have to
deal with (dumb) terminals, but surely it has advantages, advantages that
i, personally, don't find in other semi-clones.
In short, if i have to put up with the deficencies of emacs, i want a full
fledged emacs, possibly vers 19, but that is asking too much, i presume.

Have a nice day!
