Some time ago, I queried this list on the possibility of creating a version
of djgpp that would cross-compile for the 68000.

Shortly after that, I lost my access, and the need disappeared anyway.

Now, I am again interested in pursuing this course, and so I'm curious as to
whether DJ has any more to say on the topic, or if anyone else out there
has done it already.

Not being a great expert on gcc (a user rather than a hacker) I'm not too sure
how to go about fitting the various parts together - as I understand it,
it should be quite possible to 'plug' the 68K code generator in without major
changes... or does it depend on the word order of the system doing the build?

Not to mention the linker, so I won't 8)

Any help would be _greatly_ appreciated.
