I recently downloaded a copy of dspice and tried to run it. It comes with go32
(dated 5/30/91, size 41366). I got the message:

CPU must be in REAL mode (not V86 mode) to run this program

I thought this odd since I've used gcc/go32 to compile and run programs on my
machine. So I tried the copy of go32 that I had previously successfully used
(dated 8/31/91, size 43214). It seemed to work just fine with dspice.

Is the copy of go32 that came with dspice out of date or what. Anyone know why
it failed? I'm using a compaq 386 with DRDOS (6.0) and emm386 with 10 MB ram.

Thanks

Allen Gordon
