Its all very well someone having negative feelings about DOS. There
are a lot of us out here using DOS, becomeing aware of GNU etc and
migrating towards the Unix world without having to buy a new computer
and throw away all the software and experience we have built up. I
would like to be able to use the Objective C runtime system which I
am told comes with GCC 2.3.x. If there is some way of us sharing the
work to get GCC 2.3.3 working under DJGPP, then I am interested in
doing some of it. Design decisions to make life unhelpful for DOS
users seems not to be encouraging that our journey is worthwhile.
Its the old story "If I were you I wouldn't start from here."
