Well, as DJ has noted, the problem is that the filenames no longer
conform to DOS conventions (no doubt RMS' devious plot to squash DOS
ports ... <g>). I can do an OS/2 compile, I believe, without much
problem, but to get native DOS, now I have to hack the source code
for include filenames, etc. And the odds of RMS accepting such hacks
back in the name of supporting MS-DOG, as he calls it, are quite low.

Haven't heard how he feels about OS/2, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm not sure where to go from here .... any ideas, people?
