Subject:	Graphics Scrolling

My last adventure into programming graphics scrolling was on an Atari 

800XL - which had a very straight forward method of hardware screen scrolling.
I am looking to use a large virtual screen (for a GIS-type application) and
am wondering if anyone knows how to scroll effectively in DJGPP - I would
prefer 4 direction, but horiz or vertical could be managed....  Thanks
in advance for any help - and DJGPP is an outstanding system! Congrats
to DJ and all other contributors!
