Oh, really? I was beginning to think you guys were getting paid to do this!
Actually, I wonder is using mailling lists and netnews as 'official' forums
for support might be bad etiquette, or even against 'the rules'. Still,
it's a good idea to do so in an 'unofficial' manner because it 1) gives
QOS a good rep. 2) make you a (hopefully) more valuable person to the
company and therefore increasing your net worth (doing anything on your
own time for a company is always a good idea :-).

Eh, what's this? DLL for DV/X? I didn't know that! If you do release,
make sure the first port is for djgpp!! (hey, this is djgpp mailling list
after all).

OBdjgpp: When reading the c.o.m.dv faq, I noticed something along the
lines of 'only some of the dv calls are supported in protected mode'.
Does that mean it would be impossible to call most dv calls directly from
PM without changing go32 to switch to real mode to do it? That is, could
it be possible to write dv-specific apps with djgpp? (talking dv classic
here, and earlier ones than the one supplied with dv/x too)

more random babblings,
mrc
