One package is called emx and was ported by Eberhard Mattes. Current
version is emx-0.8e.

You can get it from :
	rusinfo.rus.uni-stuttgart.de
	hobbes.nmsu.edu
	bongo.cc.utexas.edu
	wuarchive.wustl.edu
	...

This is part of the README.DOC file :

emx is available for anonymous ftp on rusinfo.rus.uni-stuttgart.de
[129.69.1.12] in the directory soft/os2/emx. It seems to be also
available from hobbes.nmsu.edu.

An emx-related mailing list has been created. The address for people
to request to be added or removed from the list is:

emx-list-request AT mail DOT physics DOT utah DOT edu

The author of emx is

  Eberhard Mattes

Another package is the "official" port of gcc to OS/2 and called
gcc/2. It is on charon.mit.edu.

It supports native OS/2 32 bit executables and object files format.

emx has gdb, gcc/2 doesn't have it yet but it support PM programming
better than emx du to the native OS/2 object files format support.

I think that emx supports the native format now but I am not sure.

Rami El Charif
