Some people have told me that they haven't had any problems with infozip,
and suggested I get the zip19i.zip from quest.jpl.nasa.gov, which I did,
but I still have the same problem.

Zip works great when I only want to zip a specified directory, but whenever
I try to recursively zip a whole tree, the machine locks up, and I have to
reboot.

I'm using djgpp 1.09, but I tried 1.08, and zip wouldn't even run, it would
just lock up the machine. Everything else I compile with djgpp works right,
what's wrong with zip?
