Subject: 68000 code generator + djgpp?
To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu

Good time, fellow netters...

I am looking for a usable, non-expensive solution for developing code for an
embedded 68000-based system on a PC, and as gcc is distributed with code
generator modules for the 68000, I am wondering if

a) Someone has a working version of djgpp that produces 68000 code...

...or...

b) there is anyone who can comment on the potential difficulties involved in
producing a version capable of this. Is it simply (ha!) a matter of editing
the makefiles/config headers to reflect the new stuff, and recompiling?
I guess a new version of the linker may also be necessary - the atari ST
version could probably be pressed into service for this if needed, although
one that could generate IntelHex or S-records would of course be preferrable...

Looking forward to your responses...

Tom.
