Couple quick questions:

I noticed a switch that gcc uses that I can't find documented anywhere (I
printed out the entire gcc users manual, and I couldn't find it in there).
This option doesn't seem to be passed to any other programs. I was just
wondering what it actually does.

Also, has anyone with a 486 tried the -m486 switch and noticed any difference
in the speed of the program?? What kind of program would make good use
of the 486's method of pipelining??
