Subject: Memory > 16M

Dear djgpp users:

If anyone is successfully using more than 16M of extended memory
in their applications compiled with gcc, could you please write
me with the details of your config.sys, autoexec.bat, dos version,
QEMM version, go32 version, and other desiderata which enabled
you to succeed.

I took himem.sys out of my config.sys file. debug32 tells me that
I have 32M available, but when I try to use it, the swap indicator
blows up to some "address" at least 50 characters long and the program
either hangs or coldboots the machine.

Much Thanks,

Stuart Lichtenthal smlg1015 AT uxa DOT cso DOT uiuc DOT edu
