This information will only reach those people who have managed to get
onto the list somehow -- who have typed the word `listserv' at least
once.  Probably there is no means against such net.noise ... ;-)

PS: except for a filter built into listserv that catches all mail that
    contains the words `help' or `add' as first word or empty mails.
    It could dump the mail and respond with an appropriate help file.

PPS: listserv's are originated on BITNET.
