Hmm, sounds like the same problem that I found with Turbo C++ v1.0,
the solution was to add a switch to the tlink.exe commands in "makefile":

        go32.exe : $(OBJS) go32.lnk makefile
                tlink /3 /c /v /s /m @go32.lnk
                tlink /3 /c /v /s /m @debug32.lnk
                      ^^
                      ||
added switch-----------
