Subject: HP Machines and DJGPP
Status: O

My primary machine is an Everex Tempo. I run QEMM on that, and DJGPP coexists
without difficulty.

However, I also now have to install my software on a Hewlett Packard Vectra
386. Not so easy, because HP provides their own EMM driver, HPEMM, and when
I run DJ things on it, the first run works; the second run on a given boot
reboots the system.

I can run DJGPP - compiled programs fine if I don't load HPEMM. But obviously
that's not the best solution for the rest of my employer's programs. Does
anyone either know why HPEMM and DJGPP don't cooperate or whether QEMM
runs properly on an HP, in which case I'll simply substitute it? Thanks.
