Myself also.  It seems 2.95 always generates much smaller code, and
in many cases it's also turned out to be the same speed or marginally
faster.  But I could say that about 2.8.1 in some cases too...

It would be nice if there were an alterate file or a readme to at
least give a path to do your own hack to fix it without reinventing
it each time
