The unofficial DJGPP Windows 2000 / XP site url is
http://clio.rice.edu/djgpp/win2k/main.htm . The main html
page then has two options, the 2.03 refresh page or the 2.04 wip page.
The following is the main change in 2.04 that are included since the July:-
1) Includes CVS LIBC changes up to 6-Oct-2002
2) GCC 3.2 now available and built with CVD LIBC
3) GDB 5.2.1 now available.
4) Bash 2.05b now available - please use this instead of the 2.05a on
21K & XP.
5) Bin Utilites 2.1.3 now available
6) File Utilities 4.1 removed due to rm.exe with LIBC. Use File Utils
4.1 from Simtel
The major showstopper left with regards to 2.04 is with rm.exe, in summaryu
File Utils 4.1 rm.exe buitl with CVS LIBC fails and CoreUtils 4.5.1 rm.exe
built with CVS LIBC works. (Some of the other coreutils exes are not
DJGPP/DOS compatible out of the box)
Please note that the CVS LIBC code is working and was used at least twice
and with some packages three times in order to build all the packages and
then to re-build them to ensure that there were no show stoppers in the CVS
LIBC.

The site contains allot of info which is designed to help developers get
the DJGPP compiler and associated packages working on Windows 2000 and XP as
quickly as possible so that they can help the out. The site also contains a
number of work in progress binary files for use on Windows 2000 and XP (and
Win 9x).
The info and files at the site allow DJGPP developers and users to get the
DJGPP compiler working under Windows 2000 and XP very quickly, it still
requires you to download the packages from Simtel. The site is accessible
from DJ's site by clicking on the "Current DJGPP status vs Windows 2000 / XP
(unofficial)" link under the Introduction section.
