I must have missed this the other week, but I cannot build Groff 1.16 =
with GCC 3.1. The process I use is as follows (snippit from my build =
batch file):-

    cd %DJGPP_ROOT%\GNU\groff-1.16
    set CXX=3Dgpp
    make clean
    call djgpp\config.bat
    sh configure
    make clean
    make
    make install
    set CXX=3D

Note: I use DJGPP_ROOT so that I can potentially move it arround, works =
90% of the time.

The output just before the error is:-

ar r libbib.a common.o index.o linear.o search.o map.o
ranlib libbib.a

Anyone got any ideas on this?

Thanks,
