Do we have any reason to believe they are stable enough? If they are stable, why don't the respective maintainers make an official release? Also, IIRC Grep 2.5.x has a new feature: it can colorize its output. I don't think this feature was ported to work in the DJGPP version; is it a good idea to release a port that doesn't support that?
