Comments and/or beta issues welcome.  The only comment I haven't done
anything about was Andris' suggestion:

mostly because I have no idea what is required :-)

Since people can find this page via links from DJ's page, I guess a
public beta has started.  I would like to announce it on the 
newsgroup soon - that will generate a lot more testing than we 
will see with the smaller and busy workers group.

Do we use the announce mailing list to inform on betas or just
releases?

How long should we test before moving to Simtel ? (each package is
really independent, unless there is some horrible bug in the library
which is linked into each one).
