You're concern is legitimate.  I don't know much about the legal
stuff.  Here the standards are in the library and share betwen developers.
I don't know how this apply for a "net organisation".  I've sent a query
to IEEE but so far nothing heard.

And Frankly, my understanding of english does not permit me to comprehend
all the subtleties of a Copyright.
