IMHO, you need to ask the user if he/she wants the installation to be 
operational in plain DOS mode as well.  If the answer is YES, you had 
better disabled numeric tails, because the problems Andris was talking 
about are null and void compared to the mess the user will have on 
his/her hands if you don't disable the numeric tails.
