Anything else you want to know or if it seems I might have forgotten some
obvious hardware, ask!

Now some more interesting findings.

For the moment I have the opportunity to try QEMM97 on hardware 1.
The interesting part of CONFIG.SYS 1 is changed like this:
--- /DOS/c/safe/c.032   Wed Jun 24 17:31:40 1998
+++ /DOS/c/config.sys   Tue Jul 21 12:28:34 1998
-DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS /testmem:off
-DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS I=B000-B7FF
+device=c:\qemm\dosdata.sys
+DEVICE=C:\QEMM\QEMM386.SYS RAM ST:M S=FE00-FEFF R:2
+device=c:\qemm\dos-up.sys @c:\qemm\dos-up.dat
+DEVICE=C:\QEMM\LOADHI.SYS /R:1 /SIZE=11520 C:\QEMM\QDPMI.SYS SWAPFILE=DPMI.SWP SWAPSIZE=1024000

In this setup it not crashing! I. e. if I run under QDPMI it _does_ _not_
crash.

I'll try. But as it's working with QEMM, do you think it's relevant?

Yes. Any ideas on where the right place is?
