Yes it is. According to the ld docs, you can use in section
names any wildcards alos known on unix shells ('?', '*',
"[a-z]" and so on).

But this feature is only available for ld 2.8x and higher.

BTW: a section wildcard *(*) will probably not do the right
thing.
