After unsuccessfully experimenting with using the BFD assembler,
I have binutils all ready to be tested. My only question regards
how to organize the directories in the zip file.
Now that gcc 2.8.x supports the heirarchtical (I know I didn't spell that
right :) format should we move binutils to that as well? So instead
of installing to DJDIR/bin we could put in DJDIR/lib/gcc-lib/djgpp/
or something. The benefit would be that it would be trivial for
people to install a cross-kit for 68K or linux or something. Both
the compiler and the assembler linker would be in separate directories
and could coexist. The major problem I see is that
gcc 2.7 would not know how to find them if they weren't in DJDIR/bin.
