I wouldn't.  A vast majority of cases work with the default 128
paragraphs.  And the pathological cases I've seen need much more than
the default.  For example, see the last thread on c.o.m.d about
getting gcc to compile a 300K-element array initialization: it
required more than 256 paragraphs to do that (it seems that cc1
allocated 67MB in small chunks).

So adding a few MBytes will IMHO waste a few KBs in CWSDPMI's
conventional memory footprint, but won't make the pathological cases
go away.
