I know that, but this is the problem when distributing
preconfigured packages. I have for instance 'i:/djgpp.v2' as my
DJGPP root directory. 

Probably I was not clear with my previous mail. What I wanted
to say was that I think it is not good to distribute the
packages already configured if it can be done with one
call of 'configure'.
