It's one of the joys of grotting about in a large software project:
there are usually untold wonders lying around.

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who's contributed
to cygwin: not only has it saved my sanity and given me a decent
environment to work in on top of windows for the last couple of years,
I'm now having a great time reading various bits of code around the
system, and writing bits here and there.
