Alrighty then.

Just to set expectation: This should be a pure-GPL tool (because I can then
grab binutils' resource parsing, internal representation and output routines
lock stock and barrel -leaving just on screen display and modification to be
coded). (In fact I'll try and convert that to a GPL library, and sell
binutils on adopting those changes. No need to duplicate effort).

I'll look around cross-platform stuff today - anyone got a suggestion. (ie
WxWindows/QT/GTK+/?)
