Hello,

I don't know, if it's meaningful, but I have found,
that, in my environment (NT4 SP3), bash hangs nearly
reproducable while configure if

	CYGWIN=...tty...

but it (still) never(!) hangs if

	CYGWIN=...notty...

This leads to a bug in cygwin1.dll, not in bash.
Unfortunately, I still haven't found anything in the code...

Maybe, someone has an idea?
