It certainly feels faster but because the /dev/windows support is broken I
can't really use it. I'll try generating a trace although the basic problem
is that XEmacs hangs which used to mean that MsgWaitForMultipleObjects was
not being called or if it was that when a message comes in select() isn't
exiting.
