The patches needed to run squid (a web proxy server/web accelerator) under
cygwin have been integrated into the main cvs branch: squid 2.4 devel (from
cvs) should configure and run OOTB on cygwin with the following additional
requirements:

cygwin1.dll 1.1.4
perl
autoconf
autoheader

Anyone who has been trying the squid port based on my emails (about 2 months
ago) and was using the squid-cygwin cvs branch should erase that source tree
and get the squid HEAD from sourceforge or squid-cache.org.
