So what to do next?

Release vim now *as-is* or hold back the release until 1.1.3 hits the
road? Unfortunately the new binary built based on the newest snapshot
is not binary compatible with the 1.1.2 release. (As cgf warned
before)

My opinion:

Release it now as-is, there are always bugs left in vim that can be
found before 1.1.3 hits the road.

If you also think we should release it now I will create the needed
directories and take Corinna's prepared announcement and announce it
as soon as the mirrors catch up.
