Has anyone gotten mouse support under VESA? Under mode 13h it worked without a hitch, although I was also developing under real mode, not 32bit protected. I can initialize no problem, but when I poll for mouse moves delta x and y will never be negative and therefore the mouse is only able to move right and down. Also, __dpmi_int kicks me out of protected mode for a few moments to interrupt 0x33 (in my case) and lags the program a bit, does it not? Is there any better way to play with the mouse driver in protected mode? And please, don't point me towards a library, I want some tangible code or suggestions so that I actually understand what's happening... Thanks in advance, Daniel Eaton REMdeaton AT direct DOT ca
