'use-docks=true' in ~/.config/lepton-eda/lepton-user.conf does the trick. Many users don't like the docks since they wastefully eat the screen space, this is why we decided to disable them by default (by one of the most popular requests, YMMV). BTW, Lepton now supports both Guile 3.0 & Gtk 3.0.
