My question: is there a simple short cut or command to minimize or disable these new windows? Or did I overlook something? The only way I found is to drag the borders to the edge of the main window until the bottom or window has disappeared; I can find no menu items for toggling visibility of these windows. There also appears to be a bug associated with the new right side bar (gschem becomes unresponsive after maximizing the main window), but I already filed a bug report (https://bugs.launchpad.net/geda/+bug/1485199), and found a workaround for this, so these issues need not te be addressed here. For those who also stumbled upon this bug: scrolling the mouse wheel and then making the right side bar invisible by dragging its border to the right will fix this behaviour. After this, gschem works fine, including the right side bar. Best regards, Richard Rasker
