I think I've already answered this very question in an earlier email. You'd find some common footprints int he stock lib shipped with pcb-rnd, in its library widnow. Then the rest is edakrill or whatever source you want, we load a lot of formats. Please read my earlier answer for the details. >a link, http://igor2.repo.hu/cgi-bin/pcblib-param.cgi but when I click on >it, I get a "Error generating the footprint:" The repo.hu link is part of >the sentence including "and an online interface to the parametric footprint >generators." > >That wasn't very helpful.  The other link in that sentence gave me a little >info however.  It appears that you can click on the images displayed and it >links to a site that has the name and values (acy(300))  for the footprint >as a GET parameter on the url.  Unfortunately I haven't a clue as to what >300 means.  I'm guessing a dimension of some kind. It is, and there is a help on that page telling you all the parameters and their menings. This is the same you have in the library window in pcb-rnd. I recommend using the librayr window instead, with the parameter edit button. > >Still looking... > >Is there any way to quiet the message log?  It jumps up right in the middle >of what I'm doing and covers up what I'm trying to edit.  I don't understand >most of the messages it's telling me so I can't fix whatever is wrong.  Some >of it has to do with the net being out of whack. If you do not close the message log window, just move it aside, it won't have to be open again. Anyway you shouldn't ignore errors but try to understand and fix them.
