Ok, fine. I don't do much simulation. I've been doing a little, but mostly to check sensitivity to uncertainties after synthesis of networks. OTOH, it occurred to me that we could distinguish by using "currentin" and "currentout" attributes to differentiate sinks (consumers) from sources (producers), independently of the sign of the power rail voltage. BTW, for thermal reasons, you typically want to specify the RMS of the current, not the linear average. That's quite different, say, at the input of a buck SMP regulator, at least between the decoupling capacitors and the current switches. Gabriel
